Cramlington is a large comprehensive school in the North East of England. We have a national and international reputation for our innovative approaches to teaching and learning, use of ICT to enhance and support learning, and our flexible use of space to create different learning environments. The school has been rated “Outstanding” by Ofsted three times in a row and inspectors commented that “learning was done with students and not to them”

We invite educators from schools in the UK to join us on one of our “free” open days – see dates below.

As a delegate you can expect to tour the new Junior Learning Village and see for yourself the way learning spaces have been constructed to encourage an enquiry approach to learning, explore how our teaching and learning model - the Cramlington cycle, is applied consistently across the curriculum, and discover how students become partners in learning through a school wide learning to learn approach. Delegates will also have the opportunity to see how the school uses its VLE platform and established (teaching and learning) intranet to create high quality and well resourced learning experiences for all 2300 students.

Lunch and relevant materials will be provided to all delegates
.

The following dates are available for visits – numbers are limited to a maximum of fifteen:

Friday 26th Feb
